Community Space
Event space just for you.
As a non-profit trying to make the world a better place, it’s important for us to be able to provide a space to EVERYONE for teaching, the arts, play, and building community. We can do this by offering our space at no cost to you at times when it’s not being booked for other, bigger events.
If your event is less than one month from today, on a weekday, and you book at least one guest room - you can use any space (including The University, full grounds, forest, and east/west lawn) at no extra charge for any event of 0-15 people. We just ask that you set up and clean up whatever you’re up to. If it’s more than 15 people and still within this time frame, give us a call and we can work something out. Depending on your event, there will likely be a small upcharge.
Need to plan ahead? You can reserve a winter weekday event space at any time no matter how far in advance you need it.

How do I reserve the space and what’s the catch?
To reserve, give us a call at 317.600.8993. We’ll book your room(s) directly over the phone, reserve your event, and briefly discuss details.
Subject to availability
Reserve-able spaces include The Grand Hall, the library, and the east or west lawn
You set up and clean up your event
Tables and chairs will be included, but if you want/need tablecloths or chair covers, they may be extra
Trash cans will be provided
Kitchen space provided
Your guest room becomes non-refundable when you reserve your event space
There are time limits of 10am-10pm for unpaid events at The University. You may pay extra to extend beyond that time
For a fee you can also add:
Staff setup/teardown (generally $150)
Catered meals (generally $25-35/person + extra for drinks - includes china, flatware, glasses, and dishwashing)
