What is Bowspring?
Bowspring is a dynamic and holistic movement methodology that emphasizes natural alignment, balanced muscular tone, and fluid, spring-like movements. It aims to optimize posture, strength, and flexibility while cultivating a deep mind-body connection. Unlike traditional alignment systems, Bowspring encourages a more globally balanced and dynamic posture, engaging the muscles throughout the body in a coordinated and integrated manner. It focuses on the three main curvatures of the body - the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar areas - creating a buoyant and light quality of movement. Bowspring can be practiced in various forms, including yoga, fitness, and everyday activities, and it is suitable for people of all ages and levels of physical ability. The practice aims to cultivate awareness, vitality, and a sense of empowerment in individuals, promoting overall well-being and joyful movement. And it feels sooooo good!
