A mindful mix of meditation sessions,
exploration of nature,
and community building.

Metta, often translated as Lovingkindness, is one of the Four Boundless Hearts from within the Buddhist traditions. Over the course of this very special weekend, our facilitator Christopher Luard will guide participants through a series of sessions in which we will work to cultivate a boundless of kindness, friendliness, and care. In drawing on the meditation techniques found in the Secular Buddhist traditions, neuroscience and psychology, this retreat will bring its participants to experience their circle of kindness and care widening gradually to include all beings everywhere. Katarina Svabcikova will be leading sessions of her unique brand of yoga that will help bring the work being done in the mind and heart together in the body.

Retreat Sessions include a variety of guided meditations, Q&A, yoga, and interactive discussions with retreat participants.

A variety of stay arrangements can be made from our private suites to treehouse elegance to forest cabana style. Meals and all scheduled activities included in weekend package purchase (pricing below). All facilities will have access to our outdoor showerhouse, rooftop bathtub, hiking, and swimming hole.

Come center yourself for a weekend and sink into the energy of Loving Kindness

Katarina has been practicing yoga for 11 years and teaches yoga since 2017. “My personal yoga practice is the practice of my heart because yoga allows me to be who I truly am. To me, yoga is a tool through which I can connect to my body, mind, heart and spirit. It is a tool that reminds me that courage, strength, compassion, kindness, and love are all so inherent in all of us. It is a practice of learning how I want to show up for myself and the people around me.”
